EEX CBAM Reference Price is calculated as the average of EUA Primary Auctions clearing prices conducted at EEX within the respective week, weighted by the auctioned volumes. To represent the global nature of this product, it is not only published in EUR denomination, but also in additional currencies which reflect the most important trade partners of the European Union in the sectors covered by CBAM.

EEX CBAM Reference Price Index provides valuable information not only to the importing companies which are located inside the European Union, but also to companies exporting goods in the sectors covered by them CBAM in countries outside of the European Union.
